If a permit rule on our site does not match what your building department told you, or you found an amended ordinance we haven't caught up with yet, email us at [email protected] with:
- The URL of the page with the error
- What the page says vs. what the correct rule is
- A link to the source (ordinance section or department page) if you have it
We aim to review correction reports within a few business days. Complex changes that require re-reading the ordinance may take longer.

We are expanding coverage on an ongoing basis. If your city is not listed yet, or a project type you care about is missing, let us know. Include the city name, state, and the work type. We cannot promise a timeline, but requests help us prioritize.
